Phospholipid Modeling Set - Phosphatidylcholine
These Molymod phospholipid models enable your students to explore the
amphipathic structure of phospholipids, the most abundant lipids in
membranes.
The set contains all of the atoms and bonds needed to
construct five phospholipids: phosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylserine,
phosphatidylinositol, phosphatidylethanolamine and sphingomyelin, and
compare and contrast their chemical make-up, particularly their
hydrophilic heads and hydrophobic tails.
The models can be used separately or with the Phospholipid & Membrane Transport Field Test Kit©.
