Primary-Secondary Coils

Demonstrate electromagnetic induction and transformer principles with this classic device. Primary coil has 175 turns of #18 AWG insulated copper wire. Secondary coil has 3 different available windings—500; 1,000; and 1,500 - with #26 AWG insulated copper wire. Plated iron core is 165 mm L with 19 mm diam. Coils are wound on molded formers fitted with shielded banana jacks.
