Wireless Smart Cart
Product Summary
The Wireless Weather Sensor is an all-in-one instrument for monitoring complex environmental conditions. It houses several sensing elements within a single unit to provide 19 different measurements. Use the sensor in logging mode with the optional Weather Vane Accessory for long-term monitoring, or use it as a handheld instrument to study microclimates and local weather patterns in real time. The collected data can be wirelessly transmitted to class devices for student analysis, making it possible to perform group studies in a single class period. With the built-in GPS, students can also collect and analyze location data for GIS investigations, displaying it on the SPARKvue Map display, powered by ESRI ArcGIS. Unit is ruggedly designed to handle humid conditions and some splashes but is not designed to be a long term weather station. To use it several days requires placing it under roof structure to protect it from the rain. Remote logging w/o GPS can provide several days of data if gathering at 2 to 5 minutes between measurements.

Product Summary
The patented Smart Cart is the ultimate tool for studying kinematics, dynamics, Newton’s Laws, and more. It is based on a durable ABS body with nearly frictionless wheels, just like our high quality PAScars. Now, we’ve added built-in sensors that measure force, position, velocity, and acceleration. The versatile Smart Cart can collect measurements on or off a track and transmit the data wirelessly over Bluetooth. In essence, it is a wireless dynamics cart that combines all the necessary sensors, without requiring any additional hardware.
Smart Carts are ideal for studying mechanics topics, such as kinematics and dynamics. The built-in load cells enable two Smart Carts to visually demonstrate Newton’s Third Law with ease. Additionally, built-in sensors for force and acceleration enable students to investigate Newton’s Second Law in minutes. Smart Carts truly are a physics lab on wheels, and now you can own the most advanced physics cart ever created, all without the restrictions of cables.
